Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of MezaSync — our website, mobile app, restaurant portal,
delivery tools, and related services. By creating an account or using MezaSync, you agree to them.
MezaSync is a marketplace platform. Restaurants prepare food; delivery partners transport orders;
customers place and receive orders. MezaSync provides the software, matching, messaging, and
operational tools that connect these parties — we are not the restaurant or the courier unless
expressly stated otherwise.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using MezaSync (including browsing public restaurant pages, registering,
placing orders, managing a restaurant, or accepting deliveries), you confirm that you can
form a binding contract and that you accept these Terms and our
Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the services.
If you use MezaSync on behalf of a business (for example a restaurant), you represent that you
have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Who these Terms cover
Customers
People who browse menus, place orders, pay (including cash on delivery), track status, chat about orders, and leave reviews.
Restaurants
Owners, managers, chefs, and staff who operate branches, menus, offers, order tickets, and delivery assignment from the portal or app.
Delivery partners
Delivery persons who receive assignment requests, navigate to branches and customers, update status, and may collect COD payments.
Platform operators
MezaSync administrators and support agents who manage users, restaurants, cuisine types, system settings, and support chats.
3. The MezaSync platform
MezaSync may include, without limitation:
- A public storefront to discover nearby branches, cuisines, ratings, and menus.
- A customer mobile experience for accounts, carts, checkout, order tracking, reviews, and support.
- Restaurant management tools for branches, foods, categories, add-ons, offers, staff, and live orders.
- Delivery workflows for availability, location heartbeats, assignment requests, navigation, and completion confirmation.
- In-app and web chat for order support, customer support, and restaurant coordination.
- Push notifications and email for order, payment, delivery, chat, and administrative alerts.
Features may vary by role, device, region, and account permissions. We may update, pause, or
discontinue features with reasonable notice when practical.
4. Accounts & access
Registration
You must provide accurate information (name, email, phone, and other details we request).
You may sign in with email/password or supported third-party providers (such as Google) where available.
Security
Keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
Roles & permissions
Access to restaurant portals, delivery tools, and admin areas is limited to authorized roles.
Restaurant owners are responsible for the staff they invite and the actions those staff take
inside their organization.
Multiple roles
A single person may hold more than one role over time (for example customer and delivery partner).
Each role’s obligations apply when you act in that capacity.
5. Terms for customers
Browsing
You may browse public branch and menu information without ordering. Distance, ratings, opening
hours, and availability are shown for convenience and may change.
Orders
- When you place an order, you offer to purchase the selected items from the restaurant at the prices shown, plus any applicable delivery or service fees displayed at checkout.
- Restaurants may accept, decline, or cancel orders (for example when items are unavailable or delivery is not possible).
- Order status updates (confirmed, preparing, ready, out for delivery, delivered, cancelled) are informational; timing estimates are not guarantees.
Delivery addresses
Provide a complete, reachable delivery address and any access notes. If you are outside a branch’s
delivery range, checkout may be blocked or the restaurant may cancel the order.
Cancellations & issues
Cancellation eligibility depends on order status and restaurant policies. For missing items,
quality concerns, or delivery problems, use in-app order chat or Contact Support as soon as possible
so we can help coordinate a resolution with the restaurant and/or delivery partner.
Reviews
Reviews must be honest, based on your experience, and free of unlawful, abusive, or misleading content.
We or restaurants may flag or remove reviews that violate these rules.
6. Terms for restaurants & kitchen staff
Partner responsibilities
- Keep restaurant and branch information accurate (address, contact, hours, delivery distance, acceptance of orders).
- Maintain menus, prices, allergens/descriptions where provided, stock, and availability in good faith.
- Prepare orders with reasonable care and food-safety practices required by applicable law.
- Respond to new orders promptly and keep status updates current for customers and drivers.
Staff & portals
Owners may grant staff access (managers, chefs, and other roles). Staff must use MezaSync only for
legitimate restaurant operations. Owners remain responsible for staff conduct and for safeguarding
portal access.
Delivery coordination
Restaurants may assign delivery to restaurant staff or request platform delivery partners within
configured radius rules. You must only assign or request drivers for real orders and must not
misuse location or contact data obtained through MezaSync.
Offers & promotions
Promotions you create must be clear, lawful, and honored for eligible orders during the stated period.
Content license
You grant MezaSync a non-exclusive license to host and display your logos, covers, menus, and
related content as needed to operate the marketplace.
7. Terms for delivery partners
Eligibility & conduct
Delivery partners must be legally permitted to perform deliveries, provide accurate profile
information, and behave professionally toward customers and restaurants. Harassment, theft,
unsafe driving, or fraud may result in immediate removal.
Availability & location
When you mark yourself available or accept assignments, MezaSync may use your device location
to match nearby orders, show distance to restaurants, and support live tracking where enabled.
Keep location permissions accurate while on active deliveries.
Assignments
- You may receive delivery requests from restaurants or platform matching.
- Accept only assignments you can complete safely and on time.
- Update order status (picked up / out for delivery / delivered) truthfully.
- Use navigation and chat tools for the assigned order only.
Cash on delivery
If an order is cash on delivery, collect the amount shown for that order, handle cash securely,
and follow restaurant or platform instructions for remittance and payment confirmation.
Do not request tips or extra fees outside what MezaSync or the restaurant authorizes.
Independence
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, delivery partners using MezaSync are
independent service providers — not MezaSync employees — and are responsible for their own
taxes, insurance, and compliance with local transport rules.
8. Platform staff & administrators
MezaSync administrators may manage users, restaurants, cuisine types, feature settings,
support threads, and system health. Support agents may access chat and account details needed
to resolve tickets. Admin powers must be used only for legitimate platform operations and
in line with internal policies and applicable law.
9. Payments, fees & cash on delivery
Unless additional payment methods are enabled and shown at checkout, MezaSync currently supports
cash on delivery (COD) for many mobile orders. Payment status (pending, completed, failed, refunded)
may be updated by restaurants, delivery partners, or platform tools when payment is confirmed.
- Customers agree to pay the total shown for accepted orders.
- Restaurants set item prices and are responsible for tax treatment of their sales as required by law.
- Platform or delivery fees, if any, will be disclosed before you confirm an order.
- Refunds or adjustments, when offered, are handled case-by-case with the restaurant and/or MezaSync support.
10. Chat, notifications & communications
MezaSync provides chat for order support, customer support, and operational coordination.
Messages may be stored to provide the service, resolve disputes, and improve safety.
Do not send unlawful, abusive, or spam content. We may send transactional emails and push
notifications about orders, deliveries, chat messages, and account notices. You can manage
push preferences in the app where available.
11. Maps & location services
Nearby restaurant discovery, delivery range checks, driver matching, and navigation rely on
location data and map providers. Location accuracy depends on your device and permissions.
You can revoke location permission in device settings, but some features will then be limited
or unavailable.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any law or infringe others’ rights while using MezaSync.
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the platform except as allowed by law.
- Create fake accounts, fake orders, fake reviews, or manipulate ratings.
- Harass customers, restaurant staff, drivers, or support agents.
- Use another person’s account or share confidential operational data outside your role.
- Interfere with deliveries, payments, or safety of food and people.
13. Intellectual property
MezaSync branding, software, and site design are owned by MezaSync or its licensors.
Restaurant names, logos, and menu content remain owned by the respective restaurants.
You may not copy or reuse MezaSync materials without permission, except for ordinary use of the services.
14. Disclaimers
MezaSync is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted
service, error-free maps, exact delivery times, or that every restaurant or driver will remain
available. Food quality, preparation, and packaging are the responsibility of the restaurant;
safe transport after pickup is the responsibility of the assigned delivery partner, subject to
applicable law.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MezaSync and its operators are not liable for indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill,
arising from your use of the platform or from interactions between customers, restaurants, and
delivery partners. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the services is limited to the
greater of (a) the fees you paid to MezaSync (if any) in the three months before the claim, or
(b) a modest amount required by mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law
(including certain consumer rights).
16. Suspension & termination
You may stop using MezaSync at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these
Terms, create risk for other users, fail to pay amounts owed where applicable, or if we discontinue
the service. Restaurants and delivery partners may also lose access if they repeatedly fail to
fulfill commitments or misuse the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive
(including IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) continue after termination.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or operational changes.
The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance
of the revised Terms, except where local law requires additional consent.
18. Contact
Questions about these Terms: use Contact Support in the MezaSync app Settings,
open a support chat on the web when signed in, or visit
